The Environmental Quality Council will consider public comment on several reports and legislative proposals at its July 25-26 meeting.

The meeting starts at 9:45 a.m. May 29 in room 317 of the Capitol in Helena. The Environmental Quality Council will scrutinize funding options for several state programs at its May 29-30 meeting.

The latest version of the Montana Index of Environmental Permits is available online, by chapter or the full report. Chapters include agriculture, land use, mining, parks and recreation, subdivisions, and water. The index is intended to be a one stop shop to save time and effort.

The Environmental Quality Council will examine funding options for a number of state programs at its March 21-22 meeting. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. on March 21 in Room 172 of the Capitol in Helena.

The coal outlook  is just one of several issues on the agenda for the Environmental Quality Council (EQC) at its meeting Jan. 17-18. The bipartisan panel of legislators and public members meets in room 172 of the Capitol starting at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 17.

The Environmental Quality Council meets Sept. 27-28 in room 172 of the Capitol. The bipartisan council is scrutinizing the parks division of the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP).

The Environmental Quality Council (EQC) meets July 12 at 10 a.m. to consider a letter urging federal action on two fire-related issues.

The Montana Legislature’s Environmental Quality Council will tour a watercraft inspection station at Canyon Ferry Reservoir on June 29 before returning to the Capitol to decide what policy issues the legislative committee will tackle over the next year.
