The State-Tribal Relations Committee takes on several weighty issues at its March 29-30 meeting in Helena, including substance abuse, missing persons, and improving Indian student achievement and outcomes for tribal members on parole and probation. The committee meeting begins at 8:15 a.m. on March 29 in room 152 of the Capitol in Helena.

The Education Interim Committee will hold its second meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, in Room 137 of the state Capitol building in Helena. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The State-Tribal Relations Committee holds its first meeting of the 2017-2018 interim on July 13 in Helena. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in Room 137 of the Capitol.

The Montana Department of Revenue is encouraging people to apply to the department’s liquor education program as volunteer trainers. The volunteers work in Let’s Control It, the agency’s training program for responsible alcohol sales

The Montana Department of Revenue announces the release of its biennial report. The several-hundred-page publication provides detailed information about the department’s tax administration and liquor control responsibilities for the biennium from July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2016.

Governor Bullock Announces $100,000 Grant to Grow Opportunities for Montanans between the ages of 16-29 in STEM Careers

Governor Steve Bullock today announced that Montana received a $100,000 grant from the National Governors Association (NGA) Policy Academy on Work-Based Learning to support work-based learning opportunities that connect youth and young adults with career opportunities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Montana is one of 6 states competitively selected to receive $100,000 to support its participation in the program.
