Montana State Library Commission to Meet Online
(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library Commission will meet via webinar on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Chair Anne Kish of Twin Bridges, Aaron LaFromboise of Browning; Jamie Doggett of White Sulphur Springs; Bruce Newell of Helena; Ken Wall of Missoula, Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the commissioner of Higher Education; and Elsie Arntzen, Superintendent of Public Instruction.
At this meeting, the Commission will discuss the FY’20 third quarter financial report for the library as well as the preliminary FY’21 budget. They will view and approve plans of service and budget requests for six library federations for FY’21 and discuss public library standards deadlines, exemptions and amendments.
Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Commission must submit written public comment to the State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meetings.
