Montana Land Information Advisory Council to Meet Online

The Montana Land Information Advisory Council will meet online Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

At this meeting, the Council will consider the FY22 Montana Land Information Plan Legislative Action Update. They will receive updates on the GIS Strategic Planning Process and GIS at DPHHS. They will receive a report from the GIS Coordinator, as well as reports on the MLIA Grant, the Land Information Plan, and the Montana Association of Geographic Information Professionals (MAGIP).

Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Council must submit written public comment to GIS Coordinator, Erin Fashoway, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meetings.

The Montana Land Information Advisory Council was established by statute through the Montana Land Information Act with the purpose of establishing a planning framework for land information and granting process for Montana.  Members of the Council represent federal and state agencies, tribes, private businesses, local governments, the university system, and the Montana legislature.
