Montana Historical Society Interpretive Historian Ellen Baumler will present “They Answered the Call” Wednesday (March 15) at noon to tell the history and evolution of nursing in Montana.
From the Methodist deaconesses who came from Chicago to Great Falls in 1898 to those that followed she will talk about those who were mainly caretakers to the emergence of science and other skills in the profession.
The program is part of the March Lecture Series sponsored by the Friends of the Montana Historical Society. There is a $5 charge at the door, but with space limited, it is advised that you call 406-444-9553 to reserve a seat.
