Law Library to Offer Free CLE Seminar on Montana Landlord and Tenant Law

We are pleased to announce that the State Law Library will be offering a free CLE (credit pending) focused on Updates on Montana Landlord and Tenant Law. You have the option of attending this event in-person or via Zoom.

When: Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Where: Online via Zoom or in-person at the Supreme Court Courtroom, Mazurek Justice Building, 215 North Sanders, Helena, MT 59620. If attending via Zoom, you will need to register for the event online. If you are attending in-person, you can register at the event.

Presenters: Shane Cashin, Reference Librarian for State Law Library of Montana; Wednesday Szollosi, Housing Attorney for Montana Legal Services.

Program Description: This presentation will provide information about updates and changes in Montana Landlord and Tenant law from the 2023 legislative session and seeks to inform Montana attorneys of the most pertinent changes that occurred this session. Beyond the legislative update, we will look at the Montana Eviction Intervention Project and explore common legal issues that an attorney in the MEIP program may encounter.
