Superintendent Elsie Arntzen Welcomes U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona to Montana

HELENA – Superintendent Elsie Arntzen welcomes United States Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona to Montana for the June 4, 2022, graduation ceremony at Salish Kootenai College. Secretary Cardona will visit Salish Kootenai College to meet with Tribal and institution leaders, participate in graduation, deliver the commencement address, and talk with students.

“We celebrate Montana proud as we honor the graduates of the Salish Kootenai College with the United States Education Secretary,” said Superintendent Elsie Arntzen. “Our graduates are Montana Ready to take the next steps in their life journey in gratitude to the dedication of their parents, teachers, school leaders, and tribal elders. I extend my appreciation to our education community for preparing and putting our Montana students first. The state of Montana is grateful that the federal government recognizes the unique cultural heritage of our great state.”
