Superintendent Elsie Arntzen Hosts the 2024 Summer Virtual Teacher Job Fair

HELENA – Superintendent Elsie Arntzen is excited to sponsor the ninth Virtual Teacher Job Fair on June 20, 2024. This virtual format allows Montana school districts to connect with quality teacher candidates from around the country. The Job Fair is offered free of charge to both candidates and districts. Many districts throughout Montana are seeking to fill positions in:

  • Career and Technical Education
  • Special Education
  • Math
  • English
  • Science
  • Health and PE
  • School Counseling
  • Social Studies
  • World Languages
  • School Counseling
  • Elementary Education
  • School Administration

“These successful virtual job fairs have been a partnership between my office and our public schools to strengthen teacher recruitment,”  said Superintendent Elsie Arntzen. “Montana students rely on quality educators to achieve academic success. I encourage every school that is searching for highly qualified teachers to join this free opportunity.”

Combined, the past Virtual Job Fairs have had:

  • Over 215 participating school districts
  • Over 2,000 qualified teacher candidates

Districts can conduct on-the-spot interviews and candidates may be hired directly from this event. All candidate information is linked to the state licensing system, TeachMontana (TMT), which allows for ease of licensing.
