BILLINGS – Superintendent Arntzen will give the commencement address and receive an honorary doctorate during the international graduation ceremony for Charisma University on Friday, June 28, 2024, in Billings. The ceremony will include graduates from many countries that have completed associates, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees from the schools of business, education, health sciences, law, philosophy, and psychology.
“Growing access to post-secondary education in Montana and across our nation strengthens our families and communities,” said Superintendent Elsie Arntzen. “As a teacher of 23 years, I recognize that learning continues every day of our lives. I am humbled by the recognition of my commitment to education excellence for all Montana students.”
"We are delighted to have Superintendent Elsie Arntzen as our commencement speaker and honorary degree recipient at our very first graduation ceremony in Montana, and what a beautiful place this is!" said Dr. William Sloane, President and CEO of Charisma University. "Superintendent Arntzen has dedicated her life to education. Like her, we believe education is of crucial importance to the future of our children and the world they will live in."
