Superintendent Arntzen to Host Second Community Discussion on Education Legislation
HELENA – Superintendent Arntzen will host the second monthly virtual community discussion focusing on education legislation passed during the 68th legislative session. This discussion will be held on July 26, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM via Zoom and will be moderated by the Office of Public Instruction’s Chief Legal Counsel. These are open opportunities for parents, families, teachers, school leaders, and legislators. The theme is Local Accountability: How Recent Legislation Affects Families, Students, and Communities.
“I am grateful for the robust and respectful conversation that occurred during the first of our community meetings,” said Superintendent Elsie Arntzen. “These discussions reflect my Montana Hope initiative which focuses on parental and community engagement in our education system. I encourage all parents, teachers, school leaders, and community members to join us for a deeper understanding of how new legislation will affect our children’s education.”
