HELENA – Superintendent Arntzen welcomes Dr. Karen Mapp to Montana’s Teacher Leader and Executive Leadership Academies’ virtual sessions on November 3-5, 2022. The theme for both Academies is “Family and Community as Partners in Education.” In this session, participants will:

- Learn how to engage families and community partners to encourage school improvement
- Improve transparency in student learning
“Parents are our first teachers and our families are our first community,” said Superintendent Elsie Arntzen. “I am thankful that Dr. Mann is sharing her knowledge on partnerships in education as it reflects my Montana Hope initiative of family and community engagement in education.
