Montana State Library Commission to Meet
(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library (MSL) Commission will meet at the Montana State Library (1201 11th Ave, Helena, MT 59601) and on Zoom on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets at least six times per year.

- Proposed Revisions to Administrative Rule 10.102.1160 (6) Personnel Certification
The Commission will discuss and receive informational updates on:
- Montana 250th Commission update- Molly Kruckenberg, Montana Historical Society Director
- Equity vs. Equality - Commissioner Cuthbertson
- Montana Library Association current goals – Sean Anderson, President (Tentative)
- Preliminary 2026 Commission Goals - Commission
- State Library Reports on the FY 26 Work Plan Dashboard, Continuing Education and Certification Dashboard, and FY 26 1st quarter courses taken for credit - Stapp and staff
The Commission will hold an executive session for:
- State Librarian's evaluation.
The Commission will review their meeting motions and directives to staff to confirm commission intent, standing Committee appointments, future agenda items for February business meeting tentatively scheduled for February 11, 2026 9:00 a.m., the annual business calendar, and the commission goals status.
