Montana State Library Commission Work Sessions Online
(HELENA)--- Members of the Montana State Library Commission have been invited to participate in optional work sessions to discuss the history and future of the Montana Library Network. They will meet online on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. and Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
No action will be taken, and further discussion will occur at their December 9 meeting. The public is invited to attend and may contact Marlys Stark, Administrative Assistant, via e-mail at: mstark2@mt.gov to receive the Zoom meeting information.
The Montana State Library Commission meets regularly six times per year. They may also meet for work session and special meetings to discuss specific topics. Commissioners include Chair Bruce Newell of Helena, Vice-chair Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the Commissioner of Higher Education, Elsie Arntzen, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Connie Behe of Kalispell, Jamie Doggett of White Sulphur Springs, Dalton Johnson of Missoula, and Ken Wall of Missoula.
Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Commission must submit written public comment to the State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meeting.
