Montana State Library Commission to Meet in Helena and Online
(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library Commission will meet in Helena at the Montana State Library and via webinar on Wednesday, February 12, at 9:30 a.m. The Montana State Library is located at 1515 E. Sixth Avenue in Helena. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Chair Anne Kish of Twin Bridges; Aaron LaFromboise of Browning; Jamie Doggett of White Sulphur Springs; Bruce Newell of Helena; Ken Wall of Missoula; Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the commissioner of Higher Education; and Elsie Arntzen, Superintendent of Public Instruction.
At this meeting, the Commission will review Montana Shared Catalog new library applications, they will discuss draft public library standards, they will review Commission work plans and bylaws, and they will consider action on the Fiscal Year 2020 Second Quarter Financial Report and the administrative study of the Montana Natural Heritage Program.
