MONTANA STATE LIBRARY COMMISSION TO MEET ONLINE

(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library Commission will meet online on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the commissioner of Higher Education; Elsie Arntzen, Superintendent of Public Instruction; Connie Behe of Kalispell, Jamie Doggett of White Sulphur Springs; Dalton Johnson of Missoula, Bruce Newell of Helena; and Vice-chair Ken Wall of Missoula.
At this meeting, the Commission will consider the FY’21 second quarter financial report, a review of the by-laws, a review of the trust agreement, the ELSA criteria, and the Network Advisory Council reboot. They will also receive updates and reports on the Legislative session, the Public Library Standards and State Aid, the Natural Resource Information System, and the State Library. They will also discuss the Commission’s goals and objectives.
Members of the public who wish to share written comment or pertinent visual materials to the Commission must submit written public comment to the State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, no later than 24 hours before the start of the public meeting.
