State Administration Committee to Wrap-up Work on Veterans Affairs, Elections, and Lobbying

The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee is meeting Sept. 1 to wrap-up work on veterans affairs, election accessibility, and lobbying laws. 

The committee will also review agency bill draft proposals for the Department of Administration, the Department of Military Affairs, the Secretary of State's Office, and the Commissioner of Political Practices. Bill proposals from the Public Employees' Retirement Board and the Teachers' Retirement Board will be reviewed at the committee's Oct. 29 meeting.

The Sept. 1 meeting is being held entirely by Zoom conferencing. The full agenda and  available meeting materials are posted on the committee's meeting information web page

Any member of the public wishing to offer live public comment at any of the scheduled times on the agenda may do so by Zoom conferencing. Please email committee staff at sscurr@mt.gov and provide your name and the time and topic for which you want to comment. You will be sent Zoom information about how to participate. Requests for conference call participation must be received by noon on Aug. 31, 2020.

Written public comment is also welcomed. To provide written testimony, please email your testimony to staff at sscurr@mt.gov

The meeting will be live streamed via a link on www.leg.mt.gov and broadcast on the Montana Public Affairs Network (MPAN).
