State Administration Committee Meeting June 17-18 Covers Elections, Veterans, and Lobbying
The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee meets June 17 at 9 a.m. and June 18 at 8 a.m. in room 152 of the Capitol in Helena through a combination of in-person attendance by several committee members and Zoom conferencing by others.
The main agenda items cover the following topics:
- disaster and emergency services;
- lobbying law updates;
- the HJ 3 study on election accessibility for disabled electors;
- a range of other election administration issues; and
- the HJ 23 study of veteran benefit claims services in Montana and other states.

This meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be streamed live on www.leg.mt.gov and broadcast on the Montana Public Affairs Network (MPAN).
Any member of the public wishing to offer live public comment at any of the scheduled times on the agenda may do so by Zoom conferencing. Email committee staff at sscurr@mt.gov and provide your name and the time and topic for which you want to comment. You will be sent Zoom information about how to participate. Requests for conference call participation must be received by 5 p.m. on June 16, 2020.
Written public comment is also welcomed. To provide written testimony, email your testimony to staff at sscurr@mt.gov.
Due to COVID‐19 public health concerns, the public is discouraged from physically attending meetings in person due to limited social distancing space in the hearing room. Contact committee staff in advance of the meeting to request accommodations if you plan to attend in person.
