ETIC meets March 23-24 to continue study work

The Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee (ETIC) will meet March 23-24 to continue its work for the 2019-20 interim. The meeting begins at 9 a.m., in room 172 of the state Capitol.

Meeting schedules are subject to change considering current public health concerns. Any further changes to the meeting dates will be updated as quickly as possible via press release and current public notice procedures.

ETIC members will continue work on interim committee studies with an overview of transmission issues and analysis of other states' consumer advocacy staff and procedures. The committee will also examine the development of 5G mobile networks in Montana and discuss wind farm sighting issues near military installations.

During the meeting in Helena, the committee will also hear statutorily required reports on the Montana Call Before You Dig program and the Montana High-Performance Building program.
