Districting Commission to meet February 19

The Montana Districting and Apportionment Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. on February 19 in Room 137 of the State Capitol in Helena.

A tentative agenda is available on the commission's website along with other meeting materials. The commissioners will hear from election administrators about their perspectives from previous redistricting cycles and their concerns when district boundaries change. The commissioners will also discuss their initial observations and questions about the legal landscape for redistricting and consider an amendment to their adopted operating procedures. The meeting agenda includes time for public comment.

The meeting will be streamed live at leg.mt.gov and will be broadcast on the Montana Public Affairs Network (MPAN).
