The voices of Montanans will echo in the halls of the capitol in more ways than ever and from farther away when the 2021 Legislature convenes Monday.
The Legislative Media Orientation for press representatives covering the 2021 Montana Legislature will be a Zoom Meeting held on December 15, 2020 at 1pm and streamed via the Legislative Webpage www.leg.mt.gov
The Rules Committees will be meeting next week to prepare Joint, House, and Senate rules for the 2021 Legislative Session.
The Legislative Branch released the names of legislators who will serve on standing committees (also referred to as Session Committees) for the 67th Montana Legislative Session.
The Revenue Interim Committee will meet November 19 in Room 317 of the Capitol building and on Zoom beginning at 10 a.m. The main objective of the meeting is for the committee to adopt a revenue estimate for introduction to the 2019 Legislature.
There will be a Joint Rules Committee meeting for Monday, October 19, 2020, at 2 p.m. This will be a hybrid meeting held out of Room 317 in the State Capitol and through Zoom.
The Legislative Council Rules Subcommittee will meet Friday, October 9, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. to review potential rules for the 2021 session. The Legislative Council will meet on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Montana Legislature's water committee will tie up loose ends during its scheduled Oct. 13 meeting, as it finalizes legislation and discusses proposed selenium standards in Lake Koocanusa and the Kootenai River.
