The Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee (ETIC) will meet March 23-24 to continue its work for the 2019-20 interim. The meeting begins at 9 a.m., in room 172 of the state Capitol.

The Legislative Council, the Rules Subcommittee, and the SB 310 Steering Committee meetings, previously scheduled for March 23 and 24, 2020 have been cancelled. 

The Education Interim Committee meeting scheduled for next week, March 19-20, has been canceled due to concerns about coronavirus.

MARCH 19 CONFERENCE CALL PLANNED TO DISCUSS COVID-19

Chair Redfield and Vice Chair Barrett today cancelled the March 19-20 Revenue Interim Committee and HJ 35 Committee meetings in light of the nationwide response to COVID-19.

Local Government Interim Committee Chair MacDonald and Vice Chair Custer have decided to cancel the March 17-18 meeting in Helena in light of concerns for the health and wellness of committee members, presenters, and the general public.

Environmental Quality Council Chairman Keane and Vice Chair Lang today cancelled the March 25-26 EQC meeting in light of the nationwide response to COVID-19.

The Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee will hear about aging services in Montana and about programs other states use to assist parents involved in the child protective services system when it meets March 19-20 in Helena.

The Education Interim Committee (EDIC) will meet on March 19-20, 2020, in Room 102 of the State Capitol to examine a range of education issues, including assessment and pre-kindergarten.

The Revenue Interim Committee and the HJ 35 Tax Study Committee meet next March 19-20 in Room 317 of the Capitol building.
