MONTANA – Governor Steve Bullock today announced Montana’s unemployment rate was at 11.3% in April due to impacts created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Montana unemployment rate remains below the national rate of 14.7% in April.

Montana Historical Society to Reopen June 9

The Montana Historical Society will reopen its exhibits, Research Center, Museum Store and State Historic Preservation Office to the general public beginning Tuesday, June 9. Its public operating hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Superintendent Arntzen Announces Task Forces for Opening the New School Year

HELENA— Superintendent of Public Instruction Elsie Arntzen announced today that she has formed two task forces to provide feedback and guidance on how to open the 2020-2021 school year this fall in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has issued its initial, Increment #1, reclamation bond determination for the Development Phase 1 activities proposed by Tintina Montana, Inc., on the Black Butte Copper Project.
