Governor and First Lady Invite Montanans to Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting

HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte and First Lady Susan Gianforte invite Montanans to join them for the lighting of the Montana State Capitol Christmas tree on Monday.

The ceremony, scheduled for 5 p.m. on Monday, December 2 in the Capitol rotunda, will feature songs from The Carroll College Choirs under the direction of Dr. Michael Gray.

The 2024 State Capitol Christmas tree was harvested on Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) state trust lands near Bozeman in coordination with DNRC, the Montana Logging Association, and Mike Duffy Logging.

The governor and first lady also invite all Montanans to visit the State Capitol to see the Christmas tree throughout the month of December.
