Governor Gianforte Welcomes $100 Million Coca-Cola High Country Investment in Montana
Investment to employ over 100 Montanans
BILLINGS, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today cut the ribbon on the new Coca-Cola High Country facility in Billings.
The nearly $100 million investment represents the latest and largest Coca-Cola High Country facility in Montana and will employ over 100 Montanans.
“Our state is made stronger when companies like Coca-Cola High Country choose to expand their business in Montana and create more good-paying jobs,” Gov. Gianforte said. “We’ll continue to foster a climate where businesses can thrive and more Montanans can prosper and achieve the American dream.”
Founded in 1956, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country is a fourth-generation, family-owned bottler serving over 2.4 million consumers regionally across portions of Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming.
Expanding on their established sales centers in Great Falls, Havre, Glendive, Kalispell, Miles City, and Missoula, the new facility will support the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of over 450 different varieties of sparkling soft drinks and still beverages.
During a ceremony at the new facility, the governor joined M. Trevor Messinger, President and CEO of Coca-Cola High Country, and local leaders this morning to celebrate the investment in Yellowstone County.
“This project will serve Billings, the state of Montana and the surrounding region with Coca-Cola and Dr Pepper products manufactured right here in Billings,” Messinger said. “This is good for the community and the state as it adds high quality manufacturing jobs and puts a state-of-the-art facility at the forefront in Billings. The economic impact is profound, and we thank the City of Billings and all the partners involved for bringing this project to life.”
Coca-Cola High Country joins a growing list of businesses which have recently expanded or relocated to Montana.
Recruiting job-creating businesses to Montana to create greater opportunities for Montanans is a top priority of the Gianforte administration.
Since Gov. Gianforte took office, he has reformed the state’s tax code to promote business investment and job creation, attracting businesses from around the world to Montana.
