HELENA, Mont. – In celebration of Montana Agriculture Month, Governor Greg Gianforte recently visited The Rancher’s Daughter, a farm-to-table retail store in Kalispell.

“Small businesses like The Rancher’s Daughter create more opportunities for Montana producers to market their world-class commodities and add vibrancy to our communities,” Gov. Gianforte said. “I was glad to meet with these two young female entrepreneurs and celebrate their small business this Montana Ag Month.”

Founded by Karoline Rose and Grayson Cottrell in 2022, The Rancher’s Daughter features a collection of Montana products like grass and grain-fed beef and lamb, eggs, produce, woodworks, candles, and jewelry.

During the governor’s visit, Rose and Cottrell explained they opened the store to support producers who have been limited to selling their products at fair-weather farmer’s markets.
