Governor Gianforte Statement on Headwaters Hub Funding
Funding from Daines-sponsored Endless Frontier Act will “cement Montana’s place” in innovation
HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today issued the below statement in response to Montana Headwaters Hub receiving $40 million in federal funding thanks to the “Endless Frontier Act,” sponsored by Senator Steve Daines:
“Montana continues to lead the nation in innovation. Thanks to our growing dominance in new and emerging industries like photonics and quantum computing, Montana is quickly becoming the envy of the nation. This investment in Headwaters Hub, alongside our pro-business and pro-jobs policies, will help further make Montana the center of gravity for next generation research and technology, not only in the United States, but around the world.
"I am incredibly grateful to my friend Senator Daines for his work to secure this funding for Montana through his Endless Frontier Act. This award will cement Montana's place as the premier place to explore new ideas to further diversify our economy and our national security."
