Governor Gianforte Joins Jewish Community to Celebrate Hanukkah

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today participated in a menorah lighting at the Chabad Lubavitch Center of Jewish Life and Learning ahead of the eighth night of Hanukkah.

“It’s an honor to celebrate the Festival of Lights with our Jewish community,” Gov. Gianforte said. “Susan and I wish our Jewish friends in Montana and around the world a peaceful and happy Hanukkah.”

Acknowledging the surge of antisemitism across the country and world, the governor added, “Montana stands in light with the Jewish faith and people, and we stand firmly against the darkness of antisemitism.”

The governor participated in the ceremony with Rabbi Chaim Bruk of the Chabad Lubavitch Center of Jewish Life and Learning.
