Governor Gianforte Invites Veterans To Work for Montana

HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today invited veterans and service members to explore employment opportunities with the State of Montana at a career fair hosted this Tuesday, November 7 at the Montana State Capitol.

“Veterans make some of the most valuable, sought-after employees in the workforce,” Gov. Gianforte said. “We want them to bring their talents to the State of Montana, and I proudly invite them to join us.”

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, the Montana Department of Administration will host a career and resource fair to share employment opportunities and resources with service members and veterans.

Career and training sessions for veterans, service members, and spouses will take place in room 317 in the Capitol building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or via Zoom. Sessions for employers, businesses, and human resources will be in room 102 or via Zoom.

A pre-session training is also scheduled for Monday, November 6, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event, Maximizing the Potential and Productivity of Military-Connected Talent, will focus on well-being and doing well at work.
