Governor Gianforte Holds Town Hall in Lewistown
ROUNDUP, Mont. – Continuing his third annual 56 County Tour, Governor Greg Gianforte last night held a town hall in Lewistown. The town hall marks the governor’s fifth since June.
“Like Montanans I meet with across our state, folks in Fergus County want good-paying jobs, affordable housing, safe communities, a secure border, and the best education possible for their kids,” Gov. Gianforte said. “I will continue to rely on their voices as I lead our great state.”

At the town hall, the governor took questions from residents on providing property tax relief, increasing the supply of housing, addressing the crisis at the U.S. southern border, and adding civics education as a requirement for high school graduation.
The governor’s 56 County Tour continues today in Petroleum, Musselshell, and Golden Valley counties.
