KALISPELL, Mont. – Launching his third annual 12 Days of Giving campaign on Giving Tuesday, Governor Greg Gianforte today contributed a quarter of his annual salary to Hope Pregnancy Ministries, a crisis pregnancy center serving northwest Montana.

In October 2020, the governor committed to Montanans he would contribute his salary as governor to nonprofit organizations and charities in the state.

“Giving back and serving our neighbors is part of who we are as Montanans, and in that spirit, I’m excited to bring back our 12 Days of Giving this year,” Gov. Gianforte said. “For more than two decades, Hope Pregnancy Ministries has provided care and resources to young mothers and families, and I’m proud to support the nonprofit with its mission.”

Founded in Kalispell, the nonprofit crisis pregnancy center has served mothers and families for over twenty years. Hope Pregnancy Ministries is comprised of Hope Family Resource Center and Clear Choice Clinic.

Through its Clear Choice Clinic, Hope Pregnancy Ministries offers free and affordable select health care services and information for both men and women, including pregnancy and parenting support and services. It also offers these services to men and women in Browning through its mobile clinic.

Additionally, Hope Pregnancy Ministries serves growing families through its Family Resource Center, providing support, resources, and new and gently used baby items for parents through its Baby Boutique.

“What a blessing to know that our governor and his wife are life affirming and have made that an important part of who they are as they lead our state,” executive director Michelle Reimer said. “Thank you for this gift, it’s generous. We’re really excited to think about what God has for the future of Hope Pregnancy Ministries.”

Hope Pregnancy Ministries relies on the generosity of Montanans to help women and families with pregnancy, postpartum support, and health needs. More information on Hope Pregnancy Ministries may be found here.

The governor and first lady were joined at Hope Pregnancy Ministries by local leaders, including Representative Courtenay Sprunger, R-Kalispell, and Representative Tony Brockman, R-Kalispell, all of whom donated items for the Baby Boutique.

Running through December 13, the governor’s third annual 12 Days of Giving campaign will highlight the work of a dozen organizations serving Montanans in need.
