STEVENSVILLE, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today celebrated the expansion of Alpha Loading Systems, an ammunition machinery manufacturer.

“We’re thrilled to see Alpha Loading Systems expand and invest further in our state and people,” Gov. Gianforte said. “With our pro-business policies, outstanding quality of life, and rich heritage of promoting and protecting our Second Amendment rights, we’ll continue to recruit firearms and ammunitions businesses to the Treasure State.”

Operating out of western Montana since 1999, Alpha Loading Systems, created by Bitterroot Tool & Machine, is a manufacturer of ammunition loading and priming machinery. The company recently expanded to accommodate increased demand for their American-made machinery and ammunition.

With its expanded facility, Alpha Loading Systems will triple its workforce capacity.

“We’re very excited about the future. We have the product, we have the people, and we now have a beautiful new facility to make it all happen,” Rick Ruebusch, Alpha Loading Systems CEO said, later praising the quality of Montana’s workforce and the pro-business environment.

To support Montana’s firearms and ammunitions businesses, Gov. Gianforte this spring protected Montanans’ retirement security from Environmental, Social, and Governance investing and Montana’s firearms industry from discrimination.

In his first year in office, the governor made Montana a constitutional carry state and prohibited the enforcement of any federal law, executive order, rule, or regulation that infringes upon ownership, possession, transfer, or use of any firearm, magazine, or firearm accessory in Montana.
