Governor Gianforte Announces Board Appointment

HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today announced the following appointment:

Board of Public Education

• Lisa Schmidt, Conrad: Owner and operator of a cattle and sheep ranch, Schmidt has a background in journalism and agriculture education. After being elected as a trustee of Conrad Schools, she helped build the framework for Montana's statewide trades and technology program. Her term will run through February 1, 2031.
