Governor Gianforte Announces Board Appointment

HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today announced the following appointments:

Board of Regents of Higher Education

Dr. Daniel Spoon, Missoula: Serving as chief medical officer and director of research for Providence Medical Group, Dr. Daniel B. Spoon is an interventional cardiologist with extensive clinical and research experience. A Montana native, Dr. Spoon earned his undergraduate degrees at Rocky Mountain College and the University of Notre Dame, received his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and completed residency training at Harvard and the Mayo Clinic, including internal medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. His term will run through February 1, 2033.
