Gov. Gianforte Visits Helena Clinic Providing Mental Health Services
HELENA, Mont. – Governor Greg Gianforte today toured the Helena Indian Alliance Clinic to learn about its work to provide affordable, high-quality health care to Native and non-native Montanans in the Helena area.
“To provide Montanans with needed resources, address underlying issues related to crime, and reduce recidivism, it’s critical we increase access to mental health care services,” Gov. Gianforte said. “Thanks to the work of the Helena Indian Alliance Clinic, our urban Native and non-native neighbors have greater access to care from a mental health provider.”

Serving both the Native and non-native community, Helena Indian Alliance Clinic helps Montanans gain access to mental health, primary care, and child care services.
The clinic also fills a critical gap in services for the Urban Native community, a historically underserved population.
“At Helena Indian Alliance, our mission is to provide the best possible services for our Native American population as well as the Helena community. I am thankful for Governor Gianforte’s visit to our facility as it shows his commitment and support for the work we do,” executive director of the Helena Indian Alliance Todd Wilson said. “It is vital that we work together for the betterment of our community with innovative approaches to the wellbeing of our patients and clients. We look forward to a working relationship with his administration.”
