Department of Livestock Adopts New Administrative Rule Changes
On May 22, 2026, four Department of Livestock administrative rule changes went into effect.
The Food Safety Bureau amended ARM 32.6.702, License Application Process.
The Brands Division amended ARM 32.18.105, Brand Ownership and Transfer, and ARM 32.106, Sale of Branded Livestock.
The Livestock Loss Board adopted a new rule, ARM 32.25.101, Loss Mitigation Program Applications and Appeals.
Copies of the rulemaking proposals for these changes were published in Issue 7 of the 2026 Montana Administrative Register.
