Applications Now Open for Opportunities in Rural Economies Planning Grants

HELENA, Mont. – The Montana Department of Commerce announced today that applications are now open for grant funding to support planning projects that yield economic impact for rural communities. The matching grant funding is provided through Commerce’s Opportunities in Rural Economies Planning Grant Program.
“Strategic economic development planning is crucial for achieving growth and prosperity in Montana's economy. Commerce’s ORE grants support vital planning that can help create vision and promote innovation for businesses throughout the state,” said Montana Department of Commerce Acting Director Mandy Rambo.
Interested applicants are encouraged to review the program details online and reach out to Commerce for additional assistance. Applications for the planning grant will open today and close at midnight on May 2, 2025.
