Montana Heritage Center committee to hold another design meeting
Building committee members will meet again to continue designing the new Montana Heritage Center
MONTANA – The new Heritage Center project Building Committee will hold a meeting on February 21, 2020. The meeting starts at 10 AM and will be held in the Montana Historical Society auditorium in Helena, Montana.
After the location of the new Heritage Center was selected in December 2019, the Building Committee met in January 2020 to begin designing the new building. The Committee is tasked with determining the structure, design, and look of the new Heritage Center, while also considering the needs of the Montana Historical Society, the Capitol Complex, and the public.
During this meeting, committee members will continue to refine the design of the building, consider how to best incorporate sustainable and efficient features, and update projections for design and construction.
The committee reports to Department of Administration Director John Lewis throughout this project.
