MONTANA WOMEN’S HISTORY TO BE TOLD IN MUSIC AT MHS
Montana women’s history has been told in many ways at the Montana Historical Society, but there is at least one way until now that it hasn’t been done.
As part of the Friends of the Montana Historical Society March Lecture series at noon on Wednesday (March 16) Helena pianist and composer David Ewer will present “Montana Women – A Piano Journey.”
It is a suite of original music he composed to pay homage to the history of Montana women. Ewer is known for his rousing playing style and knack for creating scenes through his music.
There is a $5 charge for the program with proceeds going to the Friends of the Montana Historical Society. Seating is limited so to ensure a seat call 406-444-9553. Attendees are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch.
