Montana State Library Commission to Meet in Helena and Online

(HELENA) --- The Montana State Library Commission will meet in Helena at the Montana State Library and via webinar on Tuesday, October 9, at 9:30 a.m. The Montana State Library is located at 1515 E. Sixth Avenue in Helena. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Chair Aaron LaFromboise of Browning; Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the commissioner of Higher Education; Elsie Arntzen of Helena, Superintendent of Public Instruction; Jamie Doggett of White Sulphur Springs; Anne Kish of Twin Bridges; Bruce Newell of Helena; and Ken Wall of Missoula.

At this meeting, the Commission will review FY 18 library federation annual reports, take action on Network Advisory Council LSTA budget recommendations, and review the drafted administrative rules to adopt rules to govern the state publications depository program.

Commission members will also attend a dinner on Monday, October 8. The dinner will take place at the home of Commissioner Bruce Newell. No business will be conducted.
