(HELENA)--- The Montana State Library Commission will meet in Helena at the Montana State Library and via webinar on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. The Montana State Library is located at 1515 E. Sixth Avenue in Helena. The public is invited to attend. The Montana State Library Commission meets six times per year. Commissioners include Chair Bruce Newell of Helena; Kenning Arlitsch, appointee of the commissioner of Higher Education; Elsie Arntzen of Helena, Superintendent of Public Instruction; Connie Eissinger of Brockway; Anne Kish of Twin Bridges; Aaron LaFromboise of Browning; and Ken Wall of Missoula.
At this meeting, the Commission will review plans of service for FY 2019 library federation grants, they will review the FY 2019 library development division budget including FY 2018 library services technology act funds, they will hear an update about a proposed self-directed library professional development program, and they will review drafts of the agency’s information technology on-call and broadband pay plan policies. The Montana State Library makes an effort to ensure that we hold our meetings in facilities that are fully accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
