Montana Land Information Advisory Council to Meet in Helena
(HELENA) --- The Montana Land Information Advisory Council will meet from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m on Thursday, November 15, in the Ground Floor Conference Room of the DNRC Building: 1539 11th Ave. Helena. Call-in options are available, please see the meeting agenda.
The Council will take action on the Montana Land Information Plan, set the 2019 meeting schedule, and will discuss issues and policy related to geographic information systems (GIS) in Montana. The Montana Land Information Advisory Council was established by statute through the Montana Land Information Act with the purpose of establishing a planning framework for land information and granting processes for Montana. Members of the Council represent federal and state agencies, tribes, private businesses, local governments, the university system, and the Montana legislature. This meeting is of particular importance as Council members finalize the FY2020 Land Information Plan.
