The Law and Justice Interim Committee will meet June 25 at 9 a.m. in Room 102 of the State Capitol. A tentative agenda and other meeting materials are now available at the committee's website, www.leg.mt.gov/ljic.
At this organizational meeting the committee will plan its work for the 2015-2016 interim. Along with its statutory duties, the committee will consider a study approved by the Legislature and assigned to it by the Legislative Council. SJ 24 is a study of sexual assault in Montana. A draft study plan for SJ 24 and a proposed work plan for the committee are available on the website.
