The Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee (ETIC) will dig into its net metering assignment on September 11.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. in Room 172 of the State Capitol.
During the September 11 meeting, committee members will hear from representatives of the Electric Power Research Institute and the Solar Electric Power Association. The committee also will visit two net-metering sites. The committee tours are open to a limited number of members of the public. Available slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals interested in touring either of the facilities must contact Sonja Nowakowski, committee staff, no later than noon on Sept. 7.
In addition to its net metering study work, the committee will begin its study of next-generation 9-1-1 in Montana. The committee will receive an update on the funding of 9-1-1 in Montana and learn more about the use of GIS mapping for enhanced 9-1-1.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sonja Nowakowski, lead staff for the committee, at 406-444-3078 or via e-mail at email@example.com. Thank you.
