The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee will be conducting a telephone conference call meeting at 3 p.m. on Nov. 24 in Room 102 of the Capitol. The meeting is for the sole purpose of making administrative decisions concerning how the committee will conduct a poll of all members of the Legislature about rules being adopted by the Commissioner of Political Practices. No other matters are scheduled for discussion or action.
The committee is required by statute to conduct the poll because 23 legislators have objected to 16 rules proposed by the Commissioner of Political Practices.
