State Administration and Veterans’ Affairs Interim Committee meets March 6 at 8 a.m. in room 102 of the Capitol in Helena.

The meeting date for the State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee (SAVA) has been changed to March 6. The meeting was previously scheduled for March 22.

The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee will meet on Thursday, Jan. 18, beginning at 9 a.m. in Room 152 of the Capitol.

The legislature's State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee has canceled its November 14 meeting. SAVA's next meeting will be January 18.

The voting machines that help disabled electors mark their ballots and the optical scan systems that tabulate election results are aging. What systems should be purchased to replace these aging machines and how to pay for them is a priority concern of county election administrators. The legislature's State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee will begin tackling this issue at a meeting in Helena on September 14.

The State Administration and Veterans’ Affairs Interim Committee is meeting in Helena on June 8 to examine several public policy issues.

The State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Interim Committee has a full agenda for its upcoming meeting on April 19. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room 102 of the Capitol.

The State Administration and Veterans’ Affairs Interim Committee is meeting Feb. 10 to dive into the legal theory and various models for likening personal information to property and establishing laws about personal information ownership.

After 23 legislators objected to 16 administrative rules proposed by the commissioner of political practices, the State Administration and Veterans’ Affairs Interim Committee was required by law to conduct a poll of the full Legislature. Presiding officer Sen. Dee Brown (R-Hungry Horse) and Vice Presiding Officer Rep. Bryce Bennett (D-Missoula) certified the poll’s results on Dec. 23.  The total votes by members of each house are provided in the accompanying table.
