The Economic Affairs Interim Committee of the Montana Legislature will meet April 26 on issues ranging from liquor law changes to studies on unemployment and emergency care. On April 27 the members will convene as a subcommittee to hear options for restructuring Montana’s workers’ compensation system. Both meetings will be in Room 137 of the state Capitol.

The Montana Department of Revenue opened its first competitive bidding for alcohol beverages licenses since the new law was passed during the 2017 legislative special session in November. 

The Montana Department of Revenue announces the winners of today’s public lottery drawing for the opportunity to apply for seven available alcoholic beverage licenses.

 

The Montana Department of Revenue will hold three public lottery drawings over the next couple of months for nine available alcoholic beverage licenses throughout the state. The drawings will take place at the department’s liquor warehouse, 2517 Airport Road, Helena and open to the public to attend.

The Montana Department of Revenue’s Liquor Control Division has reviewed the latest population estimates by the U.S. Census Bureau and determined the availability of seven alcoholic beverage licenses in three communities.The department is currently accepting applications to participate in its lottery for the licenses.

The Montana Department of Revenue announces the winners of today’s public lottery to apply for the 14 available liquor licenses to operate alcohol establishments in nine communities throughout the state. These are the winners of the lottery for each area and liquor license type.
