The Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee and the House Joint Resolution 20 Subcommittee on transparency in health care pricing will not meet as scheduled next week, due to potential conflicts with the special legislative session that begins on Nov. 14.

The Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee will cover topics ranging from prescription drug costs to services for developmentally disabled adults to Medicaid funding and Medicaid provider rate cuts when it meets on Sept. 11.

Fifteen people have been selected to serve on a subcommittee that will examine matters related to transparency in health care pricing, the presiding officer of a legislative interim committee announced on Wednesday.
