The Local Government Interim Committee will hold its third meeting of the 2017-2018 interim on March 14 and 15 in the Capitol.

Helena - The Montana Department of Revenue reminds Montana property owners whose homes or other property are damaged or destroyed during wildfire or other natural disaster that they can apply for property tax assistance.

The Local Government Interim Committee meets July 14 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 102 of the state Capitol building in Helena. Representatives of cities and counties will share with the committee their ideas on the role the committee could play in strengthening the relationship between the legislature and local governments, as well as identify policy areas the committee might explore.
