(Helena) The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has extended the time for the public to comment on the scope of an Environmental Analysis for the Crevice Exploration Project. The new deadline for comments is March 10, 2016.
Crevice Mining Group, LLC has submitted an application to DEQ for an exploration license to investigate the potential for a gold mining project on private property located northeast of Gardiner in Park County.
The extension will allow more time for the public to submit substantive comments to help determine the scope of the EA.
The exploration application is available to view on DEQ's website at: http://deq.mt.gov/Land/Hardrock Comments on the proposed exploration application may be submitted electronically using the DEQ Public Comment Portal at: http://svc.mt.gov/deq/publiccomment Written comments may also be submitted to Jen Lane, Department of Environmental Quality, P.O.
