The Revenue and Transportation Interim Committee will hold its next meeting on May 2-3 in room 137 of the Capitol in Helena, beginning at 10 a.m. on May 2 and at 8:30 a.m. on May 3.

The Economic Affairs Interim Committee of the Montana Legislature will meet April 26 on issues ranging from liquor law changes to studies on unemployment and emergency care. On April 27 the members will convene as a subcommittee to hear options for restructuring Montana’s workers’ compensation system. Both meetings will be in Room 137 of the state Capitol.

The committee will conduct an organizational meeting via teleconference starting at 1 p.m. on April 25. A tentative agenda and initial meeting materials are now available.

Legislative Audit Committee to review the Department of Fish Wildlife & Parks, the State of Montana Single Audit, the Department of Commerce, and the Management of Montana’s State Parks System at the April meeting.

The State-Tribal Relations Committee (STRC) will elect a new presiding officer at its meeting this week in Helena after Representative Jonathan Windy Boy (D-Box Elder) resigned from the committee last week. The meeting is now scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, in room 152 of the Capitol.

The State-Tribal Relations Committee takes on several weighty issues at its March 29-30 meeting in Helena, including substance abuse, missing persons, and improving Indian student achievement and outcomes for tribal members on parole and probation. The committee meeting begins at 8:15 a.m. on March 29 in room 152 of the Capitol in Helena.

A legislative committee will continue its study of community services for people with developmental disabilities by looking at programs and rate structures in other states when it meets March 22-23 in Helena.

A group looking at how to make health care prices more transparent will consider potential recommendations when it holds its final meeting in Helena on March 21. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room 102 of the Capitol in Helena.

The Law and Justice Interim Committee will meet on March 19-20 in Billings. The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. on March 19 at the Board of Oil and Gas Conservation hearing room at 2535 St. Johns Avenue.
